Disclaimer
LoneStar AI is a sports analytics and educational project. Please read this disclaimer carefully — it sets honest expectations about what the platform is, and what it isn't.
1. Not affiliated with the NFL or the Dallas Cowboys
LoneStar AI is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, any other NFL team, or any official partner of those organizations. All team names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and used only for identification and commentary.
2. Predictions are estimates, not facts
Every probability, win projection, simulation outcome, or "playoff chance" shown on this site is a statistical estimate generated by a Monte Carlo model. It is not a prediction of what will actually happen. Real games are decided by factors the model cannot fully capture — injuries, weather changes, refereeing, coaching decisions, individual brilliance, and pure randomness.
The model will be wrong. Often. A 70% prediction means we expect to be wrong about 3 times out of 10. Treat the outputs accordingly.
3. Not betting or financial advice
LoneStar AI is not a gambling service, betting tool, or financial advisor. The platform does not provide odds, lines, picks, or recommendations for placing wagers.
Do not use this site as the basis for any betting, fantasy-football cash-game decision, or other financial bet. If you choose to gamble, do so legally, with money you can afford to lose, and through licensed operators in your jurisdiction. If gambling is causing harm in your life, contact the National Council on Problem Gambling hotline at 1-800-GAMBLER (US) or your local equivalent.
4. Not professional advice
Nothing on LoneStar AI should be treated as professional advice in any field — financial, legal, medical, athletic, coaching, scouting, or otherwise. The Service is for entertainment and educational purposes.
5. Data sources
The platform pulls from publicly available NFL data sources. We do our best to keep this data fresh and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every number is current or correct. Data feeds occasionally break, lag, or contain errors that flow through to the model.
6. External links
Some pages link to external sites (GitHub, news outlets, NFL.com, etc.). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or policies.
7. Beta / prototype status
LoneStar AI is an active prototype. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. Bugs exist. Numbers may shift as the model is refined. We try to communicate major changes via the weekly intelligence report and on our GitHub.
8. Educational use
Teachers using the platform in classrooms should treat all outputs as examples for teaching about probability and modeling, not as authoritative forecasts. The whole point of the Classroom Lab is to teach students to question model outputs.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. See the Terms of Service for the full legal version of this clause.
